Have you heard great things about Acupuncture but not sure if it is the right thing for you? Have you always wanted to try Acupuncture but are not sure if you are a good candidate?
Here are some recommendations of when to consider Acupuncture:
-When you are not responding to your current care plan or have reached a plateau with your care.
-If you have had pain/problem for more than 3 months.
-If your pain or problem started in one area but is now affecting other areas.
-If you have other factors/conditions not allowing your body to heal (stress, lack of sleep, hormone imbalance, adrenal fatigue, anxiety/depression, etc.).
-If you experience or have been told that you have muscle imbalance or weakness and need help with muscle activation or recruitment prior to PT/conditioning(ie. You have been in a boot/cast and have lost motor function/control; common glut weakness in runners, etc.).
-When acute pain/inflammation relief is needed prior to being ready for any other type of therapy.
